For my birthday, I decided to venture to Bang Bang Ice Cream as my Instagram new feeds have been dominated by pictures from this place, especially the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich! Beware, the shop is small and the place is easily missed as there was only a little sign by the window. The decor is minimal and they had the ice cream selections of the day on the bucket, which I thought was a cute idea.

The cookies selection looks great! Unfortunately the Macaron was sold out for the day, I ended up ordering the London Fog Ice Cream Puff Sandwich instead.

The London Fog Ice Cream was really good, with the flavor really apparent, the puff pastry was too dry for me. A small complaint about the ice cream though, I ate this on a chilly day, yet the ice cream melted really fast. I end up having to scoop the soupy ice cream to eat with the pastry as it was dry so you can’t eat it by itself either.

Overall I definitely recommend this place. On my next visit I will try the macaron or the Hong Kong Waffle instead, the puff pastry was dry and I don’t recommend it at all.
