With over 2000 stores worldwide, CoCo Fresh Juice & Tea is the world’s largest leading bubble tea chain. What’s fascinating is that the Taiwan-based franchise also sell 100 bubble tea at every second! With several locations across the GTA, CoCo Tea is also a great spot to sip on some unique and tasty drinks while catching up with friends.
Yes I’m reviewing bubble tea today! Don’t judge me because once you got to try CoCo, you will thank me for it :)! At CoCo Tea, they have an extensive categories of drinks: from milk tea, smoothie to even Yakult (a fermented Japanese probiotic milk) – ensuring that there’s something for everyone here.

My favorite drinks are 3 Guys (in the middle) and the Lemon King (below). I love the strong black tea flavor (they use real tea and milk) in the drink and the pudding is smooth and velvety. Good grass jelly is hard to come by these days as most places just scoop out tasteless black jello now. I’m happy to say that the grass jelly here has a mellow herbal taste to it that I love.
*Pst, insider tip: the 3 Guys is probably the best value you can get for a bubble tea! You get 3 toppings – tapioca, pudding, grass jelly – for approx. $5, whereas at Gong Cha or Chatime, you will need to pay extra for toppings, meaning your drink can go up to $6-7.

When I don’t want milk tea, the Lemon King is usually my go to order as it is super refreshing, and they even put an entire lemon in the drink! I recommend getting it half sweet so you will be able to taste the slight sourness from the lemon.
Compare to their competitors, I find that the quality of CoCo’s bubble tea are quite consistent with every visit. They were also recently crowned as the top bubble tea shop in Toronto by BlogTO as well!
